Antarctica in the time of corona virus

While millions of people around the world are coping with COVID-19 lockdowns, scientists and support staff in Antarctica are preparing to ‘lockdown’ for their winter isolation. They will be completely cut off from the rest of the world in the extreme cold and dark for several months.
